MPBus, 2nd Place on INNOspace Master Satellite 4.0 Challenge



The firm Jmp Ingenieros has obtained second prize of "Master Satellite INNOspace 4.0ESA BIC Challenge organized by the German Aerospace Centre, with its MPBus project. The project is coordinated by the Riojan firm located in Sotés and developed in partnership with other regional firm, NASP, and in collaboration with the Centre Spatial Liège (Belgium) and Yamar Electronics Ltd.



It aims to reduce cabling systems, communications and energy in aerospace launchers, allowing greater load capacity and increased safety, but also can be applied in satellites, space probes, submarines...

On Wednesday May 4 was held the awards ceremony in Berlin, where it was decides who was going to have a seat in the Innovation Centre of the European Space Agency, approaching the commercialization of the project. Eduardo Remirez, accompanied by the MPBus consortium project, presented the proposal of starting the project, before an audience of specialists in the space field. And although the candidacy of Jmp Ingenieros did not win the first prize, the competition was very fierce and the Riojan company obtained a good reward.



'The organization has decided to expand the prize and they have granted us a Master in Bayern and the possibility of an extension in Darmstadt, so also interested to invest in our project', valued Eduardo Remírez , CEO of JMP Ingenieros, recently landed in Spain with Regina Laorden. 'There has been much level, and although not win has been a slight disappointment, we returned frankly happy because we access the fields of aerospace world', said Remírez.











 The program has the support of the European Space AgencyDLRAirbus and Defense & Space, pursuing innovation in the space industry. To Remírez the reward, will give them plus valuable experience, 'space jump' for Jmp, committed to 'reduce to a single cable wiring system, enhancing communication'.
